Filter cloths are diverse in their properties and features – and their fastening techniques are just as varied

First and foremost, the filter press and the application determine which fastening option is best suited. The main focus here is on a secure and non-slip fit, as well as an easy and time-saving installation procedure.

LENSER has a wide range of filter cloths and mounting options. In addition to standard fastenings, we also develop new and innovative solutions. Our aim is to make the work of your employees on the filter press easier all round, also when there is part-changing and installation work to be done.

Standardized cloth fastenings

The standardized cloth fastenings are primarily the classic barrel-neck filter cloths. They have small eyelets at the edge that are then secured with cable ties or have a Velcro fastener. Drape-over and single filter cloths are also chosen often in combination with the same or similar fastening devices.

For sealed filter elements, the filter cloth is hammered into a clamping groove. Fitting conventional filter cloths for sealed filter elements is very laborious, so LENSER has optimized this step and launched the LENSER EASY-FIT.

We want to make the cloth mounting process as fast and easy as possible for your staff. That is why we rely entirely on seal technology.

LENSER EASY-FIT

The LENSER EASY-FIT is especially designed for sealed filter elements and is based on the proven technology for gaskets.

While conventional filter cloths for sealed filter elements have a U-groove, our sealed filter elements have an Ω-groove. The elastomer seal of the LENSER EASY-FIT is adapted to this Ω-shape. In this way, the filter medium sits exactly at the same height as the milled edge of the groove and also can no longer slip out of the groove.

LFC and LFC Hybrid

By far the easiest way to change filter cloths – use the LENSER Formed Composite (LFC) for drip-proof filter elements and the LENSER Formed Composite Hybrid (LCF Hybrid) for standard filter elements.

Features of LFC:

Plug-in neck consisting of male/female part
Sintered fiber construction adapts perfectly to the geometry of the filter element
Suitable for low and high pH values
High retention of fine particles
Robust surface finishing
Hydrophobic coating on request

Features of LFC Hybrid:

LFC plug-in neck sewn onto proven LENSER PRESS TEX fabric
Available as single or drape-over filter cloth
Classic fabric fastening by means of eyelets with cable ties or Velcro fastening
Can be retrofitted at any time
